GA1

Karen Eller "Karen"

"Although I am on my freeride-bike most of the time, I definitely know how good these grips feel in rough territory. They give me a positive sensation of having a firm grip on my handle bar. At this years' BC Bike Race I held my handle bar up to 9 hours per day. But I never had any numb fingers or aching joints in 7 days!

GA1

A Technical grip for techincal riding. The GA1 is designed for the demands of freeriding and all mountain use. A cyclindrical grip allows for maximum freedom of movement. The anatomic shape reduces arm pump and protects the sensitive nerves going into the hand. Therefore a greater Level of control is achieved. Four different textures means that grip is provided where needed, and prevents rubbing where it isn‘t. A performance boast for everyone.

The Size Difference.

As hand size is different from person to person, Ergon manufactures the GP, GC, GR, GS, GE and GA ranges in two sizes - Small and Large. This difference is in the diameter of the grip. The reason for this is that a larger hand is better able to grip a larger grip with less stress and effort.

This is the same in reverse for small grip. A smaller hand needs a smaller grip to allow the hand to close around it. Of course, this is all also down to personal preference.
