GreenLab is an initiative promoting more environmental awareness in product development
GreenLab is the name given to an initiative within Ergon product development which combines the preexisting aims of ergonomics and performance with ecology. In other words, GreenLab is about applying innovative ideas to overcome the contradictions that arise when trying to increase product performance and be more environmentally conscious. On one hand pushing the boundaries of what is possible, on the other, ensuring small steps are made in the direction that all of us should be taking.
A new concept
All grip packaging has been completely re-designed. The result is 40% less packaging material, simplicity as now only one material is used (paper), much easier to recycle. It is so good, that it has already won the German DesignPlus award for packaging brilliance!

GP1 BioKork
Offering improved feel, damping and a low weight all thanks to the natural qualities of cork this grip is a result of GreenLab. Natural (grass) fibres reinforce the plastics, vegetable oils replace mineral oils, and aluminium is used with recycling in mind.
